WFCA Trustees
Waltham Forest Carers Association (WFCA) was founded in 1986 and is both a registered charity and a Company Limited by Guarantee. WFCA is managed by a Board of Trustees who are also Directors of the Company.
WFCA Board of Trustees are all volunteers and come from a variety of backgrounds and have a variety of skills. Some are carers or former carers, while others are supportive of our work and want to contribute their time, skills and energy. All Trustees share a commitment to supporting the well-being of carers and are legally responsible for the control and management of the administration of the Charity and for its strategic direction.
Trustees are elected annually by those who have registered as Company members and they are accountable to WFCA members and others, for how they govern the organisation.
